1. What is Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) / Baroda FASTag?

Electronic Toll Collection is a solution for digital payment of Toll charges using FASTag. Baroda FASTag is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the prepaid account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas. Baroda FASTag has a validity of 5 years and after purchasing it, you only need to recharge/ top up the FASTag as per your requirement. Baroda FASTag offers near non-stop movement of vehicles through toll plazas and the convenience of cashless payment of toll fee with nation-wide interoperable Electronic Toll Collection Services.

2. Which are the roads where Baroda FASTag can be used?

Baroda FASTag can be used on all toll plazas on National Highways where it has been integrated. To find out list of toll plazas currently integrated with FASTag kindly visit NHAI site at http://www.nhai.gov.in/writereaddata/Portal/Images/pdf/ATP.pdf .

3. Do I need to use any specific lane at the toll plaza for Baroda FASTag?

Yes, you will have to use the lanes demarcated for FASTag.

4. How can I recharge my Baroda FASTag account?

You may recharge you Baroda FASTag account by using any of the provided modes by Bank , details of the same is mentioned below:
  • By logging in to our website https://fastag.bankofbaroda.com using any Debit/Credit Card , Net Banking, UPI etc.
  • Through any UPI Application by entering the VPA NETC.VEHICLENUMBER@BARODAMPAY
  • Using any Bill Payment application like Google-pay, Phone pay etc. and select the FASTag recharge option and bank as Bank of Baroda and enter the vehicle registration number.
  • Using Bank of Baroda’s Mobile Banking Application-bob World.
  • Approach any nearest Bank of Baroda Branch or Authorized agent for the recharge by paying in Cash/Online.

5. How do I generate/ reset my username and password?

Please log in to the customer portal fastag.bankofbaroda.com and register yourself to generate your user id and password. Please enter the required information in the prompts and the system will send an SMS with your log in details to your registered mobile number. You may call our customer care @ 1800-103-4568 (Toll Free) for assistance.

6. Can a FASTag bought for my own vehicle be used for another vehicle?

No, Baroda FASTag is issued to each vehicle based on KYC documents submitted. If a Baroda FASTag for instance bought for one Car is used for a Truck then such FASTag shall get blacklisted resulting into denial of vehicle passage from FASTag lanes on Toll Plazas. Baroda FASTag users are advised to desist from such practice.

7. What are the documents needed to apply for a new Baroda FASTag?

You need to submit the following documents along with the application for Baroda FASTag:
  • Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle.
  • Passport size photograph of the vehicle owner.
  • KYC documents as per the category of the vehicle owner:

Our representative will provide you an application form, which you need fill and submit. All required documents for Baroda FASTag should be in the name of the owner of the vehicle. If the vehicle owner is not present at the time of application, driver will need to submit his photo ID proof. A valid driving license would be sufficient for Address & ID proof.

8. What are the charges for Baroda FASTag?

Baroda FASTag has a onetime Fee of Rs.84.74 + Goods & Service (GST) tax. The refundable security deposit depends on the vehicle type.

Please note:

  1. *Goods & Service tax (GST) will be levied on all the prescribed fees & charges at the applicable rates.
  2. Convenience fee will be applicable for online recharge.
  3. Threshold amount is the minimum recharge amount to be done at the time of tag activation.
  4. Toll amount will be deducted as per the applicable amount, depending on the vehicle class and the plaza used. Charges mentioned above are subject to change.
  5. The above mentioned tag deposit rates would be applicable as per your vehicle class and will be refunded to you at the time of Baroda FASTag account closure.
